Dog Boost Session
Dog-only training to make everyday handling safer, easier, and more manageable.
Service Description
Dog Boost sessions give your dog focused one-on-one training time with Linus when practicing on your own is difficult because your dog is hard to handle, easily overwhelmed, or simply has more energy than you can safely manage right now. Sometimes that can create a frustrating cycle: your dog needs regular movement and practice to become easier to handle, but handling challenges make it hard to give them enough of either. Pent-up energy builds, walks and outings get harder, and getting the repetitions you need can feel even further out of reach. Dog Boosts are designed to help break that cycle. Linus works directly with your dog to provide structured exercise, build useful skills, and put in the repetitions that can be difficult to manage on your own. Depending on your dog’s needs, sessions might focus on: • Leash walking and engagement • Calm exits, greetings, and transitions • Settling and relaxation • Recall and attention • Muzzle conditioning • Reactivity and disengagement skills • Confidence around specific environments or routines The goal isn’t for Linus to become the only person who can handle your dog. It’s to help your dog reach a point where you and your family can safely meet their everyday needs yourselves, with lower-cost support like dog walking or doggie daycare where appropriate. That’s why Dog Boosts should be paired with Team Training. After Linus has had time to build skills one-on-one, we bring the whole team back together so you can see what’s working, practice the same techniques, and build the confidence to use them in daily life. Think of Dog Boosts as extra reps with a professional trainer, designed to make life with your dog more manageable for everyone.
