Service Description

**NOTE: Must complete an Initial In-Home Assessment Session BEFORE booking! We will cancel any Custom Training Sessions if the Initial In-Home Assessment has not been completed.** These are our ongoing, in-home sessions where we turn your custom plan into real-life change. Each session builds on what you and your dog practiced between visits. We’ll adjust the plan based on what’s working, what’s stuck, and what’s newly emerging (because dogs love to switch it up!). Depending on your goals, sessions might include foundation skills (attention, relaxation, leash walking, “place,” recall), behavior change work (reactivity, barking, resource guarding, separation-related stress), or household skills (greetings, kids + dog routines, multi-dog harmony). Our style is practical and relationship-focused: • We show and practice with you what to do in the moment, not just the theory • We work at your dog’s pace and show you how to identify and respond to signs of stress and overwhelm • If it's a good fit for your learning style, we can make custom tools and worksheets to reinforce exercises and adjustments between sessions • We prioritize progress over perfection and focus on skills that hold up in the real world You’ll get: • Coaching for the humans (confidence, tone, timing, mechanics, setup, consistency) • Step-by-step exercises and homework that fits your actual schedule • Troubleshooting for new challenges as they pop up Training sessions are iterative skill-building tools: not “one big fix,” but “steady momentum” with a trainer in your corner.
